Moms Supporting Moms

Motherhood is hard. Raising tiny humans is hard. Raising medium sized humans is hard. Raising adults is hard. MOM LIFE IS HARD, should I say it louder?

Mom life looks different for everyone. Some work from home and keep their kids home with them. Some work from home and send their children to school or daycare. Some work out of the home and send their kids to school or daycare. Some decide to focus solely on being a mom and don't do any additional work than that. Some work part time out of the home and spend the other time with their kids. One thing is for certain, I've never met a mom who doesn't work. So let's stop saying it. I am guilty of it, I've said I'm just a mom more times than I'd like to admit. Let's stop that too.

We need to stop shaming moms for wanting to stay at home full time and focus on their kids. We need to stop shaming moms for wanting to pursue their careers while raising a family. Can we just let everyone do what makes them happy? I know we are taught this in Kindergarten, right? If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut. In Kindergarten it's probably taught in a nicer tone. But seriously, stay in your lane and leave everyone alone. I only have time for moms who support other moms, plain and simple.
