Vacation Time

We are leaving for Sea Isle on Saturday and I can't wait to enjoy a week with my family. Liv loves the beach and water so it will be a lot of fun. Vacationing with kids is a lot of work, but it's all about your mindset. The memories and smiles are worth it every single time.

I am going with low expectations and I understand that the good will absolutely outweigh the bad. My kids LOVE to sleep in their cribs, so traveling isn't the easiest but we are going to make those memories! Will they get overtired and cranky? Yep. Will Liv probably end up sleeping in our bed? Maybe. Will Jack wake up at 5am? Perhaps.

But I don't care and I'm going to just go with it. When traveling with kids you just have to go with the flow and manage your mindset and expectations. I promise it will be a lot easier this way.

I don't have any special parenting hacks about traveling or sleep for you, but I am going to tell you about some of my favorite summer essentials that we take everywhere. I always take a diffuser and some oils with me. I will pack some oils to help us sleep and some oils that are just nice and relaxing for the day time. Citronella will be coming too because the bugs down the shore can be ruthless. Stress Away is another go to because it is literally known as vacation in a bottle. Young Living has clean sunscreen and bug repellent that is perfect for the summer months.

A couple other things I'll be backing are Ningxia, Zyng, and all the kids oils like snifflease and sleepyize. The last thing I want is to be down there and one of the kids get the sniffles and I don't have the oils to help open them up. Cold Zyng on the beach just hits different and I can't go a day without my Ningxia Red. If you know, you know.
