Every person who has a child needs to find their new identity as a parent. As a new mom with a 15 month old, I am still trying to figure things out. As a stay at home mom I am constantly searching for my purpose that I used to have as a teacher in the work force. I don't want anyone to think I am complaining about being able to stay at home with my daughter. I know we are very fortunate and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I understand many families dream of having one parent stay home with their children, so I will never take it for granted.

At times I feel my life lacks some purpose. Yes, I am raising my daughter and I believe there is no greater purpose than raising the next generation to be good humans. I guess I just want to help people the way I did as a teacher. As a stay at home mom with a daughter who loves to sleep (yes I just knocked on wood), I have time in my day to do something more productive. Cue this blog....

This blog will give me a chance to connect to people, share things I love, and above all else help people find some life balance. I will share things that help my family function better on a daily basis. You'll see books I love to read, essential oils, organizational tips, and other things that help me achieve optimal wellness. If one thing I share helps one person then I found some purpose. Thanks for tuning in!
